Ila Jean Davis, known fondly as Jean, was born on July 23, 1929, in Portland, Oregon. She dedicated 18 years of her life to serving at the Fire Department, a testament to her commitment and hard work. Jean's proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Coleman, and her sons, Stephen Duhon and Curtis Duhon, who is married to Marti Duhon. Jean cherished her grandchildren: Chelsey Hoff and her husband Jacob, Brandon Duhon and his wife Chelsie, Heather Duhon, Jennifer Duhon, and Cameron Duhon. Additionally, she was a loving great-grandmother to Katherine Duhon, Daxton Hoff, Holden Duhon, Brooklyn Hoff, and Owen Duhon.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John “Jack” Davis, sisters Thelma & Dolores and brothers Marion, Jimmy & Norman Hoover. She lived 64 years in her same home located in Cardiff by the Sea,California, where she continued to inspire those around her with her kindness, love and devotion to family.
