Ian Paul Anthony Mayers, lovingly known as Paul, was born on August 25, 1970, in Ontario, CA. He peacefully passed away on May 24, 2024, in Elkton, MD.
Ian had a vibrant zest for life and a wide array of hobbies that brought him joy. He enjoyed spending countless hours immersed in video games, collecting memorabilia, building things, and exploring new destinations. His insatiable curiosity and passion for history led him to constantly seek knowledge and broaden his horizons.
When it came to food, Ian had a diverse palate. He relished in savoring dishes such as beef patties, Indian cuisine, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and hamburgers.
Music played a significant role in Ian's life, and he had a great appreciation for artists such as Buju Banton, Madonna, and Janet Jackson. His taste in entertainment extended to TV shows, including Star Trek, Star Wars, and Airwolf.
Ian found immense happiness in spending time with his family, who meant the world to him. He cherished every moment with his beloved spouse, Dionne Mayers. Together, they created a beautiful bond filled with love and cherished memories.
Their love also brought forth a wonderful son, Jayden Mayers, who was Ian's pride and joy. He was a devoted father, guiding and supporting Jayden throughout his life.
Ian's caring nature, sense of humor, kindness, intelligence, and boundless love will be deeply missed by his parents, Rupert Mayers and Dotlyn Mayers( deceased), his sister Jillian Cherese Mayers and niece Cherayna Thompson, as well as his extended family and friends.
Professionally, Ian excelled as a chemist, leaving behind a remarkable legacy in his field. His strong work ethic was encapsulated in his life motto, "GET IT DONE."
Ian Paul Anthony Mayers will forever be remembered for the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the indelible impact he made on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
