Fishing, gardening, and working with his hands. He did everything from building barbecue grills to car repairs and home remodeling.
He loved listening to Blues. And passed his love of music on to his children.
He was born in Haiti, Missouri and raised in Mound City, Illinois. He graduated from Lovejoy High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served in active duty during the Korean War. After leaving the military, Henry moved to Fort Wayne and began working at International Harvester, where he met his wife Ruby. They were married in 1976 until her untimely passing in 2019. Henry worked at International Harvester until their plant closure in 1982. He then worked at Holsum Bakery until he retired in 20xx. He couldn’t sit still so he began working at Alconex until his second retirement in 2018. Henry moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2021, where he remained until his passing.
We'll plant real trees for you in Henry's memory and display your contribution forever.
