Henry Lee Chesnutt, 53, passed away on July 5, 2023. He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Lee will be remembered most for his exceptional character. He possessed a caring nature that radiated kindness and warmth. His unwavering support of his family and friends and willingness to lend a helping hand endeared him to all those who had the pleasure of crossing his path. 

Family was of utmost importance to Lee. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Michelle Chesnutt; daughter, Baylee Chesnutt and partner Alex Peat; son, Austin Chesnutt; parents Judee and John Chesnutt; brother Jae Chesnutt, wife Kathy Chesnutt, nephew Jack Chesnutt and niece Annie Chesnutt; and in-laws Lorie and Robbie Graham.

Lee's love and devotion for his family were immeasurable, and his presence will be deeply missed in their lives.

The impact of Lee's loss will be felt far and wide, as his influence extended beyond his immediate circle. Friends, colleagues, and acquaintances alike will fondly remember him for his unwavering positivity, generosity, and genuine care for others.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Lee will be held on July 19th at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church at two o’clock. Family, friends, and all those touched by his remarkable presence are invited to join in commemorating a life well-lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project, causes close to Lee's heart.
