Helen Ann Whitlock, lovingly known as Aunt Helen and Grandma to many, passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 65. She was born on November 20, 1958, in Lorain, Ohio, where she lived most of her life.
Helen was a vibrant and sociable person who loved to talk and communicate with anyone she met. She cherished her family and friends, always staying connected to them through her tablet. Helen's favorite pastime was engaging in conversations and being there for her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Rachel Whitlock, and her granddaughter, Madeline Tavia Whitlock. Helen's impact on their lives was immeasurable, as she played the roles of a loving mother and doting grandmother.
Helen was also the oldest sister to her brothers Max Keathley and Donald Keathley, as well as her sister, Lynn Abouelhana. Her dynamic and lively personality, characterized by her talkative, outgoing, funny, and spirited nature, made her a treasured presence in the lives of her family members.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents. Father Paris Hunt in 2009 and her Mother Mary (Baker) Hunt in 1986 and her two brother Charles S. Whitlock in 2009 and Charles “Mike” Whitlock in 2015.
One of Helen's defining traits was her love for cooking. She would happily prepare meals for anyone in need, even if they weren't hungry, always insisting they try her delicious creations.
To all who met her, Helen was a dear friend, a beloved aunt, or a cherished grandmother. Her warm and engaging nature left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
Helen Ann Whitlock will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
