Heather Moyo (née Bangwayo) was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to Davison and Margaret Bangwayo on the 23rd of October 1984 as the 3rd of four children. She was married to Ndaba Moyo and together, they have two beautiful children: Zinhle who is 9, and Nkosi who is 7.
Heather attended Coghlan and Petra Primary schools in Bulawayo, before proceeding to Girls' College for high school. At 18 she moved to South Africa to study at Monash University where she was subsequently offered a job after graduation. She went on to work in universities and tertiary education for all of her working life and was also known for her love and kindness for people, regardless of who they were.
Heather also had a passion for sewing which she did as a hobby and eventually as a business, which she called Seams Sewphisticated', making ladies' outfits that are as fancy as she was!
We will miss her infectious energy and flare for life which led her to pursue and achieve her dreams, touching many lives in the process.
