Hazel Jones Faulkner, born on February 23, 1935, in Pitt County, North Carolina, passed away on August 26, 2024, in Tarboro, North Carolina. Hazel was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Gail (Pat), Lisa (Randy), and Little Buddy (Dana and Brad), and cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren: Crystal (Josh), Matt (Becca), Mindy (Tom), Josh (Rachel), Whitney, Wesley (Kayla), Brandon, and Mills. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Abby, Madison, Parker, Paxton, Spencer, Ellie Cooper, Rosie, Daisy, and Mille Belle.

An avid gardener during the summer, Hazel found joy in nurturing her plants and spending time outdoors. She loved visiting sales and thrift stores, always on the lookout for hidden treasures. Family was at the heart of Hazel's life; she delighted in calling her girls on the phone and sharing in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sweet tooth, Hazel never met a dessert she didn’t love, and her kitchen often filled with the aromas of her favorite treats.

Hazel's warmth, love for family, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
