Hazel's favorite hobbies
Gardening was Hazel’s passion. She created a garden at every house she and Chris owned. The garden at Lower Edge was the best kept garden in Elland in Yorkshire in Bloom in 2012. Hazel also designed the front garden at Overgate Hospice. She also loved showing her dogs at shows all over the country.
Hazel's favorite foods
Hazel just loved food. She was a wonderful cook and she taught all the children to cook. She also loved eating out at many different restaurants over the years.
Favorite bands and musical artists
The Beatles, The Hollies. And Ella Fitzgerald.

Playing in the garden as the children called it!
Favorite place in the world
Portugal- The Algarve. Scotland- Dumfries and Galloway. Northumberland- Boulmer : Fisherman’s Cottage

Gardener’s World especially when Geoff Hamilton was the presenter, and latterly with Monty Don.
Favorite sports
Ten pin bowling. She was captain of the Bradford University team in the late sixties.
