Harry Joseph Bourque was a native of Catahoula.
Mr. Bourque was employed as a sand blaster in the boat fabrication industry for many years.
He enjoyed raising farm animals and fishing.
He is survived by his two sons, David Bourque and Randy Bourque, his daughter Pamela B. Viator, and his sister and brother, Rose Bracquet and Bernard Bourque.
Mr. Bourque had 11 grandchildren: Brent, Donny, Shawntel, Jamie, Sarah, Jared, David II, Tiffani, Ashley, Billy Jr., and Jimmy (Boo).
He had 16 great grandchildren: Tanner, Destiny, Christopher, Johnathan, Mildred, Jacob, Mikayla, Austin, Ashley, Chad, Dylan, Paris, Brianna, Harley, Sierra, and Gavin.
Harry Joseph Bourque was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lillian B. Bourque, his son Johnny Bourque, grandson Johnny Jr., parents Anthony and Emerante Bourque, sisters Delores Prioux and Doris Louviere, and brothers Fabian and Herbert Bourque.
Funeral services were held at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, with interment at Broussard Cemetery in Bayou Petit Anse. Pallbearers included Brent, Donny, and David Bourque II, Billy Viator Jr., Jimmy "Boo" Bonin, and Jared Hugonin. Honorary pallbearers included David and Randy Bourque, Billy Viator Sr., and Austin Vaughn.
