Celebrating the Life of Harold Harris

On March 21, 2025, our beloved Harold Harris received his crown and entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Though he left us too soon, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts. Harold was born on August 12, 1976, to Mariah and Edward Lee Harris. He now joins his father, Edward Lee Harris, in eternal peace.

Harold’s life was a beautiful story of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. He leaves behind a cherished legacy in his son, Harold Pollard; his devoted mother, Mariah Harris; his loving sisters, Beverly Harris and Carolyn Coullette-Dews; and his brothers, Sammy Coullette, Terry Coullette Sr., and Elindsy Coullette. His love extended to his nieces, Alicia Moton, Niya Harris, Jailiah Moton, Alexandria Dews, and Brianna Dews; his nephews, Elijah Harris, Christian Harris, Devin Moton, and Terry Coullette Jr.; and the next generation—his great-niece, Emila Johnson, and great-nephews, Aseam Karoma, Tyler Coullette, and Sebastian Coullette.

Harold was a man who embraced life with open arms. He was a friend to all, known for his warm smile, infectious humor, and the special nicknames he gave to those he loved. As a barber, mentor, and community leader, he was a pillar of strength and joy. Whether coaching basketball at Recreation Center No. 11, serving as a camp counselor, or simply sharing a joke, Harold made every moment meaningful. His love for music and entertainment was just another way he brought people together.

Not everyone knew that Harold’s faith was a quiet but powerful force in his life. He often sought comfort in God’s word, holding close the promise of Psalm 34:10: "Those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing." He knew that God was always by his side, providing, protecting, and guiding him.

Harold, your journey was not in vain. You lived with purpose, love, and laughter. Now, as you rest in the arms of the Lord, we find peace in knowing that you are home.

"Well done, my good and faithful servant."

A Message from Those Who Love You

"While we say goodbye for now, we know you are never truly gone. Your love, laughter, and kindness will continue to live within us. Rest easy, my brother. Love you."
— Terry

"Wow… we laughed, we cried, protected each other, and definitely gave Mom and Dad a run for their money! I know God has you now, and you are safe. You will always be in my heart."
— With love, Big Sis Bev

"Mommy will forever miss you. I will love you always. Take your crown of glory, my son."
— Mom

"The day God called you home, you left without a goodbye, but your love remains with us always. If love alone could have kept you here, you never would have left. You are forever in our hearts."
— Elindsy

Rest in love, Harold. Your legacy will never fade. 💙

Funeral

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only I could have you back just for a while. Then we could sit and talk again, just like we used to do. You always meant so very much, and always will. The fact that you're no longer here, will always cause me pain, but you're forever in my heart until we meet again. By Zohaad Irfan
