Harlan Basil Cromer, aged 74, passed away on September 22, 2024, in Akron, Ohio. Born on March 8, 1950, Harlan dedicated 20 years of his life to serving in the United States Marines, from 1967 to 1987, embodying the core values of honor, courage, and commitment. After his honorable discharge, he channeled his leadership and resilience into founding and operating Devil Dog Construction.
Harlan was a passionate outdoorsman, often found hunting and fishing, activities that brought him great joy and peace. His love for the outdoors was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. Harlan is survived by his wife Barb, sons Jason(Michelle) and Shawn(Courtney), and daughter Nycole(Mark).
A gathering to honor Harlan's life will be held at Billow Funeral Homes and Crematory at 1907 23rd St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, from 1 PM to 4 PM. The family invites friends and associates to join them in celebrating his remarkable life.
