Hailey Curtis, known affectionately as Ollie, passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 35. Born on July 7, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea, she spent her final years in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and infectious spirit.

Hailey had a creative soul, with a passion for drawing, writing, and reading. She found joy in the simplest moments, collecting memories in her cherished memory box filled with trinkets like pictures, rocks, and buttons. Her favorite place in the world was her reading corner, surrounded by plants and books, where she could immerse herself in stories and ideas.

A devoted friend and supporter, Hailey volunteered at both a women's shelter and an animal shelter, and she was an ardent advocate for LGBT rights. Her goofy sense of humor and caring nature made her a beacon of light to those around her; she was always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh, often stating, "I'm not broken, I'm bent."

Hailey loved Korean cuisine, enjoyed the music of Jelly Roll, James Arthur, and Ed Sheeran, and cherished her relationship with Hmone, even after their recent breakup. Her niece Sparroe and the love of her life Hmone brought her immense joy.

Though she didn't watch much television, she appreciated the comfort of background noise, and her compassionate heart resonated deeply within her community. Hailey leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support, reminding everyone she met of the power of caring for one another.
