Gwendolyn Bonner, born on June 7, 1955, in Hope Hull, Alabama, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2024, in Montgomery, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry Bonner, her parents Catherine and Joseph Williams Sr, her brother Owen Williams, and her sister Cynthia Williams. And her Great Grandson Trevor.

Gwendolyn is survived by her loving daughters, Cathy Cook and Cynthia Denise Walker-Woods (Trailiney Walker-Woods), as well as her nine cherished grandchildren: Lepoleon Mitchell, Khadijah Williams, Sylvia Williams, Ephesians Smith, Toriona Handy, James Smith, Tremayne Bryant Jr, Austin Walker-Woods, and Corii Walker. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren.

She is fondly remembered by her surviving sisters Sylvia Williams, Ophelia Williams, Joyce Thomas, and her brother Joseph Williams Jr. Gwendolyn's impact on those around her extended beyond her immediate family, touched the lives of many, including her dedicated niece Shayla Ball, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Gwendolyn was known for her kindheartedness and willingness to help anyone she came in contact with. She had a straightforward nature, and if she didn't mince her words with you, it meant she genuinely cared. Her presence made a lasting impression on countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.

Although Gwendolyn's physical presence will be deeply missed, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered as a compassionate and generous soul who unknowingly touched the lives of many.
