Guy was a staple to "The Clock Of Brevard", where the crew and owners became more like family. He also enjoyed banana pudding, and ate ice cream as if it were going out of style.

After retiring from Brevard College, Guy owned his own lawn, garden, and pool service. He truly enjoyed working and continued to do so up until he could no longer.

Guy loved nothing more than

In his later years, Guy loved nothing more than spending time with his great grandchildren. He often enjoyed riding his grandson on his lawn mowers, and giving him careful instruction on how to weed eat. He truly loved them without condition.

Guy enjoyed watching old westerns, and especially the Andy Griffith Show. It was noted that he had seen so many, he had each one memorized.

In his younger years, Guy excelled at playing basketball and track. He later took his passion for sports, and applied it to creating his legacy at Brevard College.
