Obituary
Grendel was an ugly creature, feared by humans. He was ruthless in his battles and often ate those he killed.
Grendel was nothing short of a monster. His only companion was his mother. He was left as an outcast of humanity. He had no one else. He was lonely, regardless of his inhuman actions, he craved a companion to spend his time with (outside of his mother).
He lived in a murky, dark swamp, where his life was later ended. he had no memorial. When Beowulf defeated him, he died peacefully and alone in his home.
