Obituary

It is with great sadness in our hearts to announce the passing of Gregory Michael Ochalek on August 5th, 2024.

Gregory was born on January 18, 1964, in Milwaukee. He spent his final time in Pattaya, Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri, Thailand, where he enjoyed the warm weather and the ocean that he loved so much.

Gregory grew up on the far south side of Milwaukee and felt he was blessed being able to attend St Roman's parochial and St Thomas More high School. He felt there he was able to create a good educational foundation, meet quality individuals and become a accomplished athlete. As a recognized H.S. State all-star he was an integral part in helping his teammates at Thomas More accomplish their goal of winning in 1981 WISSA State football championship. He always expressed the perseverance and camaraderie of that time was one of his fondest memories.

After high School he moved on to receive his B.A. at Southern Illinois University, attend a master studies program at UW-Milwaukee and finish off with a J.D. from the University of Arkansas- Little Rock. Using his law degree he created successful 25 year practice down in the Miami Metro area. Known for his commitment to his profession and his clients, Greg was thought of as the lawyer of last resort. He often took cases that were passed on by others to see that people were served justly.

Outside of his career, he had a passion for travel, reading, and listening to music, which enriched his life and allowed him to connect with diverse cultures and ideas.

He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Edward and survived by both his mother Ardith and brother Christopher. There are many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives.

Godspeed Gregory, you were loved.♥️
