He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, George Lopez. Greg is survived by his siblings—sister Anna Marie Villa and brothers Gabriel, Gilbert, and Gary Lopez. He leaves behind his beloved children, Crystal (Jon Caceres), Gregory, and Alexandra, as well as six children, Angelina, David, Isaiah, Arielle, Chloe, and Gregory JR III. Greg graduated from East High in 1978 where he was a standout football player and class president. He married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Tafoya and together they raised their family in Tucson, Arizona. They eventually separated, however continued to drive each other crazy over the years.
