Ms. Gloria Magbee Scott was born March 15, 1929, in New York City. She was on of the four children born to the late Augustu B. Magbee and Eunice Stinson Magbee. She departed this life at the age of 94, on Tuesday January 30,2024 at Harbison Shore Assisted Living Facility,in Irmo, South Carolina where she resided for the last two and a half year. Born during the era of the Great Depression, The Harlem Renaissance, and the Civil Rights movement. Gloria participated in many activities throughout her life as an artist. She loved music. Some of her favorite included: Micheal Jackson, Jay-Z , Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Jackie Wilson, and Beyoncé. She was an honorary member of Bettie and the Bushwackers, “ GO GLORIA “, GO GLORIA” is what you would hear as she took the dance floor. Gloria loved to laugh and tell jokes. Most of all She love her family and friends.
