Gloria Jean Smith, affectionately known as Glo Jean, passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on December 29, 1948, in Hueytown Crest, Hueytown, AL, and most recently resided in South Euclid, OH.

Gloria had a zest for life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including crochet, visiting the casino, and cooking. She had a particular fondness for okra, Pepsi, and coffee. But above all, Gloria's greatest joy came from being a devoted grandmother and mother.

In her free time, Gloria could often be found watching her favorite TV shows, "Young and Restless" and "General Hospital." She was also lovingly referred to as Glo Jean by those closest to her.

Professionally, Gloria had a successful career and retired from University Hospitals. She leaves behind her loving spouse, Theodore Smith, with whom she shared many cherished moments.

Gloria leaves behind a legacy of love through her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Kamryn, Theonee, Kierstyn, Theodorell, David, and Keonna, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Gloria is also survived by her father, Samuel Gaffney, and will be remembered for her defining personality traits of being loving, caring, and resilient. She impacted the lives of others by always being willing to help with anything that was needed.

A devoted Baptist, Gloria's religious beliefs held a special place in her heart. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held in Gloria's honor to celebrate and remember her life. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
