Our Father Gerardo Martinez Aguilera, a hardworking man with a heart full of love and faith, slept in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on May 20, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born on October 8, 1957, in Ignacio Allende, Durango, Resided in Santa Maria, CA. for more than half his life.

Our Father was the oldest of twelve siblings, born to Rutilio Martinez and Margarita Aguilera. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, and father. Our Father leaves behind his adoring wife, Our Mother Maria del Rosario Montellano, and us his six children: Gerardo Jr, Benito, Mayra, Elvira, Ishshah, and Simsahi Martinez.

Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, Our Father pursued a career as a Tractor Service Technician. He enjoyed fixing industrial tractors and working on cars as a side Job. Our Father's favorite place in the world was the Iglesia del Dios Vivo Columna y Apoyo de la Verdad, La Luz del Mundo, located at 524 West Cypress St, Santa Maria CA, 93458. He found solace and inspiration in his faith, being an active member of The Light of the World Church.

Our Father’s superpower was his big heart and unwavering faith. He always prioritized taking care of his wife and children, and he held a deep love and respect for his parents and siblings. Our Father had the incredible ability to bring a smile to every person he encountered, spreading joy through his caring and giving nature.

In addition to his work and family life, Our Father was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He believed in the Holy Election of Naason Joaquin Garcia, the Apostle of Jesus Christ. Our Father's faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and guiding his every step.

Despite the many roles he held, Our Dad remained a humble and fun-loving soul. He had a contagious smile, and his many life experiences, stories, and zest for life touched everyone around him. His favorite ice cream flavor was pistachio, a simple pleasure that brought him joy.

Our Dad Gerardo Martinez Aguilera will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. His legacy of faith, hard work, and kindness will forever be cherished. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, let us remember him for his unwavering devotion to his loved ones, his faith in God, and his ability to spread love and positivity wherever he went.
