Gerald Douglas Hadley Jr. was born in Nashville TN on March 30th, 1949.
He departed this life on May 3rd, 2024, at the age of 75. Gerald's passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Throughout his life, Gerald was known for his loving and free-hearted nature. His infectious smile could brighten even the darkest days, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel special.
He had several nicknames but his most famous one that most known him by was Skeet or Skeeter. Gerald was also known for his hard work. At 15, he learned to be a master carpenter working on many important projects and custom work over the years.
Skeeter loved many things. A few things being vintage cars and various types of music, old westerns, and gardening.
He is survived by Father Gerald Hadley Sr. and wife Jannie Hadley of Jackson TN, wife Kathy Hadley of Selmer TN. Children Jesse Hadley and wife Mikalyn Hadley of Stantonville TN, Vickie Smith of Selmer TN, and April Adams and husband Shane Adams of Bethel Spring, TN, following 9 total grandchildren and a slew of extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Betty Patterson Hadley, Sister Vickie Elizabeth Hadley, and sons Kristopher Hadley and Scott Hadley.
There are no services planned, A celebration of life will occur with details to be determined on a later date by Jannie Hadley and Mikalyn Hadley through personal announcement invitation.
