Michae’l loved finding old and antique pieces and refinishing or repurposing them. She owned Forever More Treasures and sold at local antique businesses and in Liberty

Georgia's pets in life

Mich’ael loved animals of all kinds, but especially horses. She was a member of the Old Gulf Coast Quarter Horse Association and proudly showed her beautiful “Ms B”. They win many trophies and ribbons. She enjoyed going to horse shows even when she wasn’t entered. Mich’ael was a Life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, in the Dinkey and Mule Shiw Cimmittee. She served as Vice Chairwoman and Captain of Ring steward stir this committee. She was also a Life Member of the Baytown Youth Fair. Prior to serving on the Fair association, she showed her own animals, Broilers, Turkeys, Sheep, Pigs, and steer, for 9 years with Cedar Bayou 4-H and 4 years with Sterling FFA.

George strait was her favorite singer, so one of the highlights of being on the Luvestock Rodeo committee allowed her to see him each time he performed.

Georgia loved nothing more than

Creating beautiful things. She was a very talented seamstress, amazing artist, speedy crocheted and knitter. She made hundreds of crocheted hats and scarves for Cancer victims. She had an eye for color and created beautiful clothes and artwork. She always had a project working

Favorite place in the world

Mich’ael loved camping, whether in a trailer or a tent, and also was a pretty good fisherman on these trips. She was a patient fisher and would wait til just the right time to land her fish.

Michael was proud to be a recent member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in the Old Three Hundred Chapter in Crosby, Texas She was a tireless worker and Docent for the Battleship “ Texas “, spending many hours scraping ,painting and repairing the ship for viewing before it was moved to Galveston for overhaul. Michael was also a member of Bayshore Fine Rides Car Club from an early age, helping her parents show classic cars before she then entered her own car in the shows.

High School attended

Michael attended Ross Sterling where she was a member of the band for 2 years, then in the Sterling Stars her Junior and Senior year in Trumpets. She graduated in 1986. She worked for Goose Creek CISD for about 15 years

She is survived by her brother Wallace Vosloh, Life Partner Bobby Owens and his son Dalton Owens and wife Erin, cousin’s Darlene Vyoral , Darrell weaver and wife Nan, Amanda Williams and husband Burton, Stephanie Haag.

Georgia Michae’l Vosloh, born on October 28, 1967, in Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2024, in Crosby, Texas. Michae’l was a vibrant and creative soul, known for her passion for finding and refurbishing antique pieces. She owned Forever More Treasures and sold her finds at local antique businesses and in Liberty.

An avid animal lover, Michae’l had a special fondness for horses. She was a proud member of the Old Gulf Coast Quarter Horse Association, where she showcased her beloved horse, “Ms B,” winning numerous trophies and ribbons. Michae’l also treasured her time with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where she served as a Life Member and held roles as Vice Chairwoman and Captain of the Dinkey and Mule Show Committee. Her dedication to supporting young people in agriculture was evident in her years as a 4-H and FFA leader, where she helped countless students care for their animals.

Michae’l's artistic talents shone in her love for sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She created beautiful clothing and artwork, and made hundreds of crocheted hats and scarves for cancer patients. Her eye for color and design left an indelible mark on those who received her creations. An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Michae’l enjoyed camping and fishing, often waiting patiently for the perfect catch.

A proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution in the Old Three Hundred Chapter and a dedicated docent for the Battleship Texas, Michae’l embraced her community with full heart. She also had a lifelong love for classic cars, beginning her journey in the Bayshore Fine Rides Car Club at a young age.

Michae’l graduated from Ross Sterling High School in 1986, where she played trumpet in the band and was part of the Sterling Stars. She served the Goose Creek CISD for about 15 years, positively impacting the lives of many students.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Georgia Ruth Shannon Vosloh. Michae’l is survived by her brother, Wallace Vosloh; Life Partner Bobby Owens and his son Dalton Owens and wife Erin; cousins Darlene Vyoral, Darrell Weaver and wife Nan, Amanda Williams and husband Burton, and Stephanie Haag.

Michae’l will be remembered for her creativity, generosity, and unwavering support for her community and the many lives she touched.
