Georgia Fields, born on February 21, 1932, in Alexandria, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. A devoted wife to Lawrence Fields, Georgia was a beloved mother and grandmother, leaving behind six children: Joyce Richardson, Octavia Fields, Mary Ann Fields, Theresa Sanders, and Lawrence Fields Jr., along with 11 cherished grandchildren: Leroy Fields, Christopher Fields, Michael Walker, Shellie Richardson, Alonzo Spradley, Ray Fields, April Richardson, Tamera Fields, and Scarlet Carrington.
Known affectionately as Mama and Nana, Georgia held a deep love for the Lord, her family, and her grandchildren. Her favorite place in the world was God's house, where she dedicated her life to prayer and support for those in need. A true prayer warrior, Georgia was always there to lend an ear and offer guidance to her loved ones, encouraging them to live life in accordance with their faith.
Georgia often shared her life motto: "We are all of God's children, and He loves all of us," a testament to her unwavering belief in compassion and kindness. Her presence impacted the lives of many, as she was a source of strength and inspiration, reminding her family of the importance of faith and living a righteous life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
