grandchildren Rebekah Clark and Jacob Clark, Shelby (Andy) Sickley, Tucker Clark, Zoey Clark, Secilia (John) Pimentel, Lindsay Zulch, and John Zulch. Great grandchildren Austin and Evelyn Sickley, Sienna, Austin, and Lucas Pimentel, Athena and Cleo Bourgeois.
George was a hardworking, spirit-filled man, known for his quick wit and humor. He was a devoted husband, a loving Dad and proud grandpa who will be missed dearly.
All accross the midwest and spending his retirement years in Jekyell Island, GA, Auburn, IN and The Villages, FL

George W Clark went to be with The Lord May 5, 2025 in The Villages, FL at the age of 86. He was one of 12 children born to Lloyd Sr and Mary Margret (Bishop) Clark in Montpelier, Ohio. George learned the value of hard work at a young age working at his father’s tomato canning factory. He married the mother of his children, Mary Jane Lutz, in 1960 and raised 3 children together. During his 30 year career as Train Master with Norfolk Southern Railroad they lived all across the Midwest. He enjoyed 31 years of retirement living in Jekyll Island, GA, where he enjoyed golfing. Then in Auburn, IN where he built a new home and finally God’s waiting room The Villages, FL where he learned to play the guitar. Though he would say his true love and proudest accomplishment was his family.
George is survived by his loving wife Linda Best Clark, sisters Mary Jane Faber of OH, Jeanette Presley of IN, Lucy Koch of OH, son George Jr (Myra) of TN, daughter Lana Metzger of TN, son Todd (Chris) Clark of FL, daughter Kami Patterson of LA, son Kirk (Maria) Zulch of TX, and son Thomas Zulch of OH. Grandchildren Rebekah Clark and Jacob Clark, Shelby (Andy) Sickley, Tucker Clark, Zoey Clark, Secilia (John) Pimentel, Lindsay Zulch, and John Zulch. Great grandchildren Austin and Evelyn Sickley, Sienna, Austin, and Lucas Pimentel, Athena and Cleo Bourgeois. Jacob Clark, Shelby (Andy) Sickley, Tucker Clark, Zoey Clark, Secilia (John) Pimentel, Lindsay Zulch, and John Zulch. Great grandchildren Austin and Evelyn Sickley, Sienna, Austin and Lucas Pimentel, Athena and Cleo Bourgeois. His fur baby, Sammie.
