George R Stevenson passed away on Friday May 17, 2024, at the age of 91. With his daughter Kelly and Son-in-law Bill by his side. He was born on September 25, 1932, in Mt Holly, NJ, and had been residing in Southampton Township, NJ.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
He is Preceded in Death by his loving Wife Janice M Stevenson (Taylor) and His Son Keith D. Stevenson
George is survived by his loving daughter, Kelly Stevenson-Horan and Son-In-Law William J Horan (Bill) Grandchildren: Ashley, Michael, Caleb Horan. His Great Grandchildren: Liam, Kensley, Dawson . His three Nephews William (Bill) Topham, Gary Topham, And David Topham. He loved his nephew’s so very much and enjoyed spending his time with them!
George was a proud Navy veteran and cherished his time in the Navy. He found great joy in his profession with Bell Telephone Company
George had a deep love for his family, and he was married to the love of his life, Janice M Taylor Stevenson. Together, they created a lifetime of cherished memories.
In his free time, George enjoyed a variety of hobbies. He was an avid hunter and found solace in the great outdoors. He also had a passion for street rods and model airplanes. The Blue Angels held a special place in his heart, as he admired their incredible aerial performances.
George had a whimsical sense of humor and was known for his favorite quote, "Here I sit all brokenhearted thought I had to shit but I only farted." His unique humor always brought laughter to those around him.
George had a taste for simple pleasures, and his favorite foods included peanut butter and orange marmalade, Cheerios, and sweet tea.
