George Arthur Shedlock, born on August 3, 1950, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Largo, Florida. George was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, known affectionately as "Poppop" by his family.

George dedicated 38 years of his life to the United States Postal Service, where he built a successful career before retiring. He embraced his retirement with enthusiasm, indulging in his favorite hobbies, which included fishing, stamp collecting, and coin collecting. George found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life and cherished his time spent fishing.

A devoted animal lover, George had a special bond with his beagle, Benzo, providing him with companionship and joy throughout his life. George's warmth and love extended to his family, where he is survived by his children, Shayna, Christopher, Robert, and Kerrie (Mike), along with his grandchildren Jasmine, Jayonna, Bryson, and Reily, and great-granddaughter Ivy'onna.

George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Shedlock, who passed away in 2016. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
