Obituary

George Alfred Chicoine Jr, 55 , passed away on March 19th 2024 peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by those who love him. After a long battle with prostate cancer.

Born in Pawtucket Rhode Island at Memorial Hospital he was the beloved son of Joanne Kowal (toots) of Central Falls and departed father George Chicoine Sr. of Attleboro.  He was the husband of Paige Chicoine whom he shared 11 years of marriage with but 40 years of partnership and friendship together. He is also survived by 7 children . His daughters, Destiney Inscore of Pawtucket ,Vivian Feley of Central Falls , Kate Neves of Newport and his sons  William Holderman of West Warwick , Chris Holderman of Pawtucket and Jared Feley of North Providence . It gives many of us peace and comfort knowing George will now be reunited with his first born baby girl, Kristen who unexpectedly passed away 8 months ago. She will be waiting for her Daddy with open arms in heaven and they will be together again. He was also survived by his many Grandchildren Izabella Caouette , Jolee Caouette, Austin Ambra Jr. “AJ” , Kara Bessette , Noah Holderman , Isaiah alves , Graycen Holderman , Tyson Feley and Tatum Feley. George is also survived by his four sisters, Maryanne Gauwain of New Hampshire, Pattijo Chicoine of Central Falls, Jennifer Chicoine of Rehoboth, and April Kowal neves and brother in law scott neves of West Greenwich and his brother Clifford Lapan of New York  and so many beloved nieces and nephews

George was know for his talents working in construction. He’d put up some walls, add a deck to the yard, fixed bathrooms, countertops, roofing, you name it, he could do it all! But we all know, his real passion was for cars, trucks, RV /winnebagos and motorcycles specifically. He loved his Harleys! If you didn't know what that noise your car was making he would take one listen and be able to tell you the problem right away. Lets not forget about a nice boat ride down the marina to fish or just look at the view. George was such an uplifting spirit you're whole world could be crumbling down and he'd come out with the most funniest joke to help just put a smile on your face. One thing that would never fail to put a smile on his face was someone saying ‘wanna smoke Georgie’ or ‘lets light one up ‘ as much as he loved most things he loved his Mary Jane. He also loved animals just as much as they loved him. He will be very missed by his two favorite animals his dog Carmella and his cat Princess. George was always doing whatever he could for everyone around him. He was such a hard worker he had such a passion for every job he did.

George was such a kind hearted, caring, loving, funny, sweet and gentle soul who fought so hard for as long as he could. He was a father, a son, a grandfather, brother, uncle,an in law and  friend and most of all he was FAMILY! George will be missed tremendously and will forever be in our hearts so today we honor, respect and remember a good man who touched and enriched all of our lives in so many different way. In remembrance of George feel free to honor him and his battle with prostate cancer by wearing light blue.
