Genesis A Rentas, lovingly known as China or Henni, was born on August 17, 1990, in Rochester, NY. She peacefully passed away on May 20, 2024, in her hometown, leaving behind cherished memories in the hearts of all who knew her.

Genesis had a zest for life that was contagious. She enjoyed her favorite hobbies, such as longboarding, dancing, and spending quality time with her children. Genesis's laughter and vibrant personality filled any room she entered, making her a joy to be around.

Her favorite foods included ribs, red velvet cake, and pollo guisado, and she loved nothing more than dancing and laughing with her family. Genesis's favorite place in the world was Puerto Rico, where she embraced her rich cultural heritage.

Genesis was a restless soul, always seeking fellowship and bringing joy to those around her. She enjoyed watching movies and appreciated the power of storytelling to unite people.

Genesis was a proud mother to her children, Ivelesse and Andrea, who brought immense joy to her life. She cherished every moment spent with them and created a loving and nurturing environment for her family.

She is survived by her parents, Luz, Neyda, and Crystal, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Genesis's defining personality traits included her blunt yet charismatic nature, and her ability to bring humor into any situation.

In accordance with her wishes, her sister will sing "Butterfly Kisses" as a tribute to their bond.

Genesis A Rentas touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul find eternal peace.
