Ge "Yeng" Yang, born on March 15, 1972, in Thong Nai, Laos, passed away on August 5, 2024, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. A cherished husband, brother, and friend, Ge was known for his infectious spirit and love for life.
Ge immigrated to the United States as a child, where his brothers affectionately gave him the name Ge, which he embraced throughout his life. He spent over 20 years working at Bemis, where his dedication and work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues.
A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Ge had a passion for sports, particularly basketball and football. He also loved comic books and superheroes, often sharing his enthusiasm for characters like Superman and Batman with his nephews. His fondness for Korean dramas added another layer to his vibrant personality.
Ge was married to the love of his life, Jennifer Ly, with whom he recently celebrated 24 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable movie nights.
He is survived by his siblings, Mee, Wa Tsua, Blia Long, Ker, Victor, Phoua, Kong, Moua Wang, Khuyer, Tze, Nhia, and Mai Kao, along with their spouses and children. Ge was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several siblings.
Ge's impact on those around him was profound; he had a unique connection with each of his loved ones and brought joy to their lives in countless ways. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
