Gayle Lane McLeod, age 83 of Morganfield, KY passed away Monday November 11, 2024 at Deaconess Hospital Union County. She was born Feb 21, 1941 in Yale, OK to Lynn & Goldie Lane. She was a longtime member of Morganfield Christian Church. Gayle was a master seamstress, Bible Scholar and enjoyed genealogy research. She retired from Union County School System after 33 years, where she taught 3rd grade, Special Education, and adult women’s GED. Gayle was active with Senior Citizen’s Center and served as their treasurer.
Funeral service will be 12 Noon Thursday, Nov 14, 2024 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Bro. Fred Girdwood & Bro. Frank Morgan will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home
