Gary L. Lloyd Sr., born on December 29, 1944, in Cato, New York, passed away on September 1, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Gary was married to Brenda (March) Lloyd for 55 wonderful years, sharing a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Gary's career as a truck driver spanned most of his life, a profession he approached with dedication and pride. After retiring, he devoted himself to his wife and family, enjoying every moment spent with them. He was a loving father to Gary Jr., Donni, and Mindy, and he was predeceased by his son Chad. Gary's family continued to grow with the addition of grandchildren Emilee, Austin, Hannah, Sierra, and Bryanna, along with five great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Known for his infectious smile and contagious laugh, Gary had a personality that could light up any room. He delighted in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was savoring his morning coffee, engaging in word searches, playing video games on his PlayStation, or watching wrestling. Above all, Gary cherished the time spent with his family, making memories that will be treasured forever.

He is survived by one brother, three sisters, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will miss him dearly. Predeceased by two brothers,and his parents Frank and Bernele (Thomas) Lloyd. Gary L. Lloyd Sr. leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and deep familial bonds that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Per Gary's wishes there will be no services. A celebration of life may follow at some point in the future.
