Garnet D. Edwards, known affectionately as Cotton, passed away on September 13, 2024, in his lifelong hometown of True, West Virginia. He was born on December 12, 1942, also in True, and spent his life contributing to his community in various ways.

Cotton had a diverse career, having worked at General Motors, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. In addition to his time at the factory, he was an avid beagler and enjoyed the companionship of his beloved dogs. Cotton also had a talent for hairdressing, often using his skills to bring joy to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Edwards, with whom he shared many cherished memories and a deep bond. Cotton will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the love he shared with family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
