Garland was Born in Springfield,Ma when he was 9 his family moved to Denver Colorado. Later the family would relocate to Aurora, Co where he attended Gateway high school. Garland loved to cooking and became a cook for Village Inn. This is where he met his future Wife(Loren) and survived by 4 Children. Karmen Rose Welty Carter,April Dawn Carter(Nick)Molnar, Trenton James Carter and Britney Joyce Carter. In 1997 garland moved his family to Fowler,Co where he continued to be a cook at various restaurants and venues.Garland always tried hard to provide for his family and moved them to Laguna, Co in the hopes of being able to be a better father for his children, after several failed attempts at providing for his family,he once again moved his family to Las animas, Co. Garland was the type of person that would give you his shirt if you needed it. The stress of not being able to work like he wanted put a toll on his family.Later garland would welcome a 5th child Dejon Emmanuel Carter whom he had with (Rochelle) struggling to stay afloat in his life garland had had enough of the life style that was spiraling him downward and out of control. He wanted to take control of his life again and so he did. He moved to Las Vegas, Nv, where he began to smile again and have hopes of doing better for him and his youngest son .
