Fred loved model trains and helicopters. He loved military history
He loved a good hamburger and prime rib!
Fred was a music lover, from Santana to Dire Straights. He loved going to concerts and the ballet with his wife JoAnn.
Fred was a hands on man, fixing cars, computers, you name it. As a boy, he liked to make model tanks, ships and planes. When the 4th of July came around, he would take firecrackers and blow them up for fun.
To laugh and to entertain with his corny jokes and knowledge about many subjects.

Frederick Carl Schenck, known to many as Freddie Carl, passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 69 after a heroic battle with cancer. He was born on December 29, 1954, in San Francisco, CA, and most recently resided in Greenbrae, Kentfield, CA.
Fred had a zest for life and a love for good food, especially hamburgers and prime rib. Music was also a passion of his, with favorite bands ranging from Santana to Dire Straits. He enjoyed attending concerts and the ballet, often accompanied by his beloved wife JoAnn.
From a young age, Fred had a knack for fixing things and was a hands-on man. Whether it was cars, computers, or model tanks, ships, and planes, he enjoyed tinkering and making things work. He also had a mischievous side, always finding joy in blowing up firecrackers during Fourth of July celebrations.
One of Fred's greatest pleasures was making people laugh and entertaining them with his corny jokes and vast knowledge on various subjects. His wit and humor brought joy to those around him.
Fred leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. As a Senior Systems Programmer/Analyst at Wells Fargo, he made a significant impact in his professional life. However, his true impact was felt in the lives of his family, friends, and colleagues. Fred was always willing to lend a helping hand and devoted his time and self to those he cared about.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, JoAnn Priestly Schenck, and his siblings Paula Schenck, David Schenck (Esther), and Beverly Schenck. He also cherished his nieces, nephews, and extended family, including Heather Kiuttu (Ralph), Karen (Scott), Erik Jones (Brian), Paul Schenck, and his niece Heather's children Erin and Killian Kiuttu, as well as his niece Mariana, daughter of his sister Beverly.
Frederick Carl Schenck will be remembered for his strength, stoicism, intelligence, and generous nature. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
