Franklin “Frank” Tryon, born on August 31, 1945, in Tullah, Louisiana, passed away on September 6, 2024, in Whitewright, Texas. A decorated Vietnam veteran, Frank proudly served his country and carried the values of service and sacrifice throughout his life.

Frank dedicated many years to his career as a truck driver, known for his strong work ethic and commitment. He was a beloved husband to Jo Ann Tryon for 42 wonderful years. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and joy.

A man of character, Frank had a positive outlook on life that inspired those around him. He was known for his humor, often bringing smiles to the faces of friends and family. Frank loved spending time with his grandkids, who brought him immense happiness. He cherished every moment with Shayla Rai Arnold, Karma Jo Arnold, Seven Frank Arnold, Gabby Johnson, and his great-grandchildren, Liliana Pruitt, Brayden Pruitt, and Noah Pruitt.

Frank was a generous soul, always willing to lend a helping hand. He volunteered to deliver food to those in need, reflecting his caring nature and commitment to his community. He had a deep faith as a Christian, which guided him through life.

In addition to his family, Frank enjoyed watching Westerns, often quoting his favorite saying, “Oh well,” with a humorous twist. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Jo Ann, stepson Billy Arnold, and all who knew him.

Frank leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
