Obituary

Frank “Frankie” Benjamin
October 22nd, 1972- August 29, 2025

Frank “Frankie” Benjamin, a man of quiet strength, deep thought, and poetic soul, passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2025. He was 53

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Frank carried with him the spirit of the city—sharp-witted, resilient, and full of stories. He later made his home in Las Vegas, where he found sunshine, space, and a rhythm of life that suited his introspective nature.

Frank had a deep love for words. He spent countless hours reading and writing, often scribbling lines of poetry in notebooks, on napkins, or anything he could find. His words had a way of cutting through noise, getting right to the heart. One of his most loved lines, still echoed by those close to him, was:
“You can find me where the willow tree weeps.”

To those who knew him, Frank was more than just a poet. He was a thoughtful listener, a lover of the ocean, and someone who found peace in the simplicity of a swim beneath an open sky. Even when life was difficult, he sought solace in nature and found beauty in the quiet.

He is survived by those who loved him deeply and will carry his words and memory forward. Though he has left this world, his presence lingers—in the rustling of leaves, in the crashing of waves, and in the lines of poetry that will be read and remembered for years to come.

A private remembrance will be held by family and close friends. In honor of Frank, take a moment to sit by the ocean, read a poem, or simply be still—he would have liked that.
