Francisco's superpower

Francisco had the most incredible superpower of all—he had a unique ability to make everyone feel cherished and safe! It was as if he carried an invisible shield of warmth and comfort that enveloped those around him. His laughter was infectious, a melodic sound that could brighten even the darkest of days, and his smile had a way of melting away worries, leaving only a sense of peace in its wake. He was the cornerstone of our family, always there for us whenever we needed him, without fail. Whether it was a simple phone call to check in or a spontaneous visit just to share a meal, Francisco had an uncanny knack for knowing when someone needed a little extra love. He had an innate ability to listen, truly listen, making each person feel like they were the most important person in the world at that moment. His empathy was boundless; he could sense when someone was struggling, and he would offer his support without hesitation, often knowing just the right words to say to lift their spirits. In times of celebration, Francisco was the first to cheer us on, his enthusiasm contagious as he celebrated our achievements, big or small. He had a way of making every birthday, graduation, and milestone feel monumental, filling the air with joy and laughter. His presence turned ordinary gatherings into cherished memories, as he effortlessly brought everyone together, weaving a tapestry of love and connection that held us all tightly. But it wasn’t just during the good times that Francisco shone. In moments of hardship, he was our rock, steadfast and unwavering. When life threw challenges our way, he stood by us, offering not just words of encouragement but also practical help. He would roll up his sleeves and dive in, whether it was helping with a home repair, providing a shoulder to cry on, or simply sitting in silence, letting us know we weren’t alone in our struggles. His home was a sanctuary, a place where everyone felt welcome and valued. The door was always open, and the aroma of his cooking wafted through the air, inviting us in for a meal filled with laughter and love. Around the dinner table, stories were shared, and bonds were strengthened, all under the watchful eye of Francisco, who made sure everyone felt included and appreciated. As we navigated the ups and downs of life, Francisco’s unwavering support and love became the foundation upon which our family was built. He taught us the importance of kindness, compassion, and the power of being present for one another. His superpower was not just in the grand gestures but

Francisco's profession(s)

Francisco dedicated over 20 years to CR&R waste management, and it was more than just a job for him; it was his true passion. He cherished connecting with people and found joy in witnessing the excitement in children's eyes when they spotted the trash truck. Working more than 10 hours a day, six days a week, he never voiced a complaint. Even during his chemotherapy, against the advice of his doctors and family, he chose to keep working, as it fueled his hope of returning to the job he loved. Until the very end, he held onto the dream of once again climbing aboard that truck and driving it down the street.
