Frances Rita Tishfield, lovingly known as Fran, passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 85. She was born on April 3, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY, and was a lifelong resident of the same neighborhood.

Fran had a passion for spending time with her family, and her favorite moments were those spent with her grandkids, family, and her late husband Herbert. She was a doting mother to her daughter Ronni Salvato and son Steven Tishfield. Her love extended to her grandchildren, including Heather Salvato, Holly Tishfield, Jillian Tishfield, and Olivia Salvato.

Fran was known for her delicious home-cooked meals and her avid reading habit. She had a sweet and caring nature, always putting others before herself. Her loved ones will remember her as someone who brought laughter and joy into their lives.

Fran's faith was an important aspect of her life, and she found comfort in her Jewish beliefs.

She is survived by her daughter Ronni Salvato and son Steven Tishfield, her sister Gail Sutain-Dorn. Fran's presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her love and memories will live on forever.
