Flora enjoyed camping.
Flora was well known for Taco night at the Elks club as she enjoyed making many tacos for everyone.
Making cakes, cookies and cheesecakes. She made the best Red Velvet cakes, if you never had a taste you missed out. She was known as the cake lady.
Flora graduated from Miami High School in 1958.

Flora met John in Aygust of 1959 in Winslow, AZ. Shortly after they found true love within each other and married February 06, 1960 in the lower Miami Baptist church. Flora graduated beauty school in 1959. She taught at the Rose Mar beauty College in the early 70's. In 1975 she joined the Miami school district and later retired in 1998.
Flora enjoyed volunteering at the Elks and the Bullion Plaza museum.
Leaves behind her husband of 66 years John James, daughter Kim James (David), son Robert James (Tracy), along with 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, last her pride and joy chihuahua Daisy.
