Fernando Espinoza Tricando, born on February 13, 1936, in Rancagua, Chile, passed away just shy of his 89th birthday on February 10, 2025, in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Known affectionately as "Negro" to friends and family, Fernando was a devoted husband to Ines Del Carmen and a loving father to his three daughters: Ines Fernanda, Margarita, and Alejandra. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Mitchell, Nicolas, Dylan, Gabriela, Carolina, and Monsi.
A proud aircraft mechanic, Fernando dedicated his life to ensuring his daughters received a good education. He was known for his warm kindness, a trait he considered his superpower. Fernando loved nothing more than spending time with his family and sharing joyful moments with loved ones. He had a deep passion for soccer, and his favorite pastime included watching games and enjoying his favorite dish, pantrucas.
An opera enthusiast, he often filled his home with music, yet he also found joy in watching classic shows like "El Chavo del Ocho" and movies such as "Tarzan." Fernando traveled to Cuba, but his heart always remained in Chile, his favorite place in the world.
He was a man who radiated happiness, sharing his food and love with others. Rintintin, his beloved pet, brought him joy throughout his life. Fernando's gentle spirit and willingness to help those around him left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His kindness, laughter, and devotion to family will be cherished and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
