Felicia Yvette Smith-Robinson was born on September 6, 1967, to the union of Johnny and Antoinette Smith. Though she entered the world early as a premature baby, Felicia possessed a fierce, resilient spirit from day one. She defied the odds and went on to thrive in every aspect of her life until her passing at the age of 59 on September 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Antoinette, in December 1991.

Felicia grew up surrounded by faith and family, attending Jane A. Neil Elementary School and Percy L. Julian High School. She pursued higher education with ambition and drive, matriculating at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, where she studied Business Administration. Driven by a desire to make a broader impact, she furthered her education by earning a Master’s degree in Public Health and

Fraud Management from Saint Xavier University in 2011. Guided by a compassionate heart and a dedication to service, Felicia devoted her professional life to helping others. She spent many years working with various social service and healthcare agencies, advocating for the well-being of individuals and families across her community.

On August 4, 2007, Felicia stepped into a beautiful new chapter when she married the love of her life, John Robinson, in a stunning destination ceremony in Hawaii. Their marriage was a partnership rooted in mutual love, unwavering support, and deep companionship. Together, they built a warm life, shared endless laughter, and embraced the journey of raising and blending a family. John stood by Felicia through every season of life, offering steady support, devotions, and love, while Felicia brought her warmth, quick wit, and joy into their home.

To know Felicia was to know a woman who lived life with style, flair, and an unforgettable passion for the things she loved. She had a legendary appreciation for good food—especially awarm bowl of her daddy’s gumbo, chitterlings, and her favorite rib tips from I-57. A true spice enthusiast, Felicia never left home without a bottle of Tabasco in her purse. Her signature humor and unyielding spirit were on full display even during her last hospital stay, when she famously DoorDashed Tabasco and her favorite snacks right to her room.

Felicia took immense pride in her appearance and moved through the world with elegance. If you knew Felicia, you knew her hair was always flawlessly done. Her aesthetician fondly recalled that even after getting discharged from the hospital, Felicia’s immediate priority was making sure her eyelashes were freshly done. She also loved luxury handbags and cherishedtime spent with her cousins and friends in their book club.

Throughout her life, Felicia faced significant health challenges with extraordinary courage. Time and again, she encountered obstacles that would have broken others, but she always bounced back with grace, strength, and a smile that lit up the room. Her resilience was an inspiration toeveryone who knew her.

Felicia’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, John Robinson; her stepsons,John Jr. (and his wife) and Shaquille; her adored two grandsons; her father, Johnny Smith; her sister, Renee; her nephews, Thurl, Jeremiah, and Marcus; her aunts, Beverly and Barbara; her godmother , Peggy; her godfather Marcus “Butch”; her best friend, Nikki; her godchildren,Lauren, Jonah and Daniel; and a host of extended family, dear friends, and lives she touched
