Felicia Denise McNeal, was born on September 15, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, and peacefully passed away on December 24, 2024, in Hamilton, Ohio. She was a vibrant spirit whose laughter could light up any room and whose outgoing personality made her a beloved figure in her community.
Felicia was the mother of eight children: Tikiyah McNeal of Jacksonville, Florida; Stephanie (Nelson) Davis of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jerome (Salvador) Holland of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Jerrod McNeal of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jeremy Watson of Hamilton, Ohio; Justin (Naela) Watson of Middletown, Ohio; Tiara McNeal of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Joshua Givens (Landers). She also was a grandmother to 23 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 4 great-grandchildren.
She had a zest for life, finding joy in her favorite hobbies, which included going to bingo, visiting the casino, and spending time with her neighbors. Felicia loved cooking, and going out to eat Chinese food, seafood, and hibachi, and she enjoyed belting out tunes during karaoke sessions. A devoted fan of Mary J. Blige, she often turned up the music to cook and clean.
Felicia was not only a mother but also a graduate who valued education. She held a special bond with the father of her two boys, Luther Watson, and was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her son Joshua Landers, her parents Waymon and Pearl McNeal, and her sister Teresa McNeal.
Her brother Waymon (Larreina) McNeal, along with one niece and one nephew, survive her. Felicia’s remarkable ability to make others laugh and her unwavering authenticity resonated deeply with everyone who knew her. She lived by the motto, "If you are ashamed of what you do, don’t do it!" and embraced life to the fullest.
Felicia will be remembered for her unapologetic personality , her fun and outspoken personality and the joy she brought to those around her. She found solace in her favorite place—home—and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
