Federico Diaz Elias, born on July 18, 1964, in Querétaro, Mexico, passed away on September 25, 2024, in Houston, TX. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, known for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter.
Federico is survived by his loving wife, Maria Diaz, with whom he shared 29 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised four children: Maribel, Araseli, Adrian, Johnny Diaz, and were proud grandparents to Yulian Benavides Diaz, Adelyn Melendi Diaz, and Richie Lovel Parada Diaz. His love for his grandchildren knew no bounds, and they were the light of his life.
Federico had a deep appreciation for music, often enjoying the sounds of his favorite band, Los Tucanes De Tijuana, and dancing to Guapangos and Duranguense. He was also known for his passion for food, particularly relishing his wife’s home-cooked meals and indulging in McDonald's chicken sandwiches. He had a special talent for bringing people together, inviting friends and family to his home to enjoy meals and create cherished memories.
A dedicated employee at H-E-B for a decade, Federico was known for his friendly and welcoming nature. His funny demeanor and ability to connect with others left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He was a proud supporter of the Mexico Soccer Team and enjoyed sharing his enthusiasm for the sport with friends and family.
Federico was baptized in the Pentecostal church, and his faith remained an important part of his life. He was affectionately known as Domingo in his spiritual community.
