Fannie Wells, affectionately known as Aunt Fannie, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born on November 8, 1943, in Hawthrone, where she spent her entire life.

Aunt Fannie was a beloved member of her community, dedicating her career to serving the City of Hawthrone. Her unwavering commitment and dedication to her work left a lasting impact on those she served. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and the ability to make everyone feel welcomed and loved.

Aunt Fannie had a zest for life and her favorite motto was "Live, love, laugh." She embraced every moment and cherished time spent with family and friends. Her infectious laughter and warm smile brightened the lives of all those around her.

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Aunt Fannie's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in her honor.
