Excell Stegall, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on January 2, 1956, in Fulton, MS, and had resided in Tupelo, MS, in recent years.

Excell was a man of many passions, with football, basketball, and spending time with his family being among his favorite hobbies. He found immense joy in cheering on his favorite teams and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.

He shared a beautiful connection with his wife of many years, Elizabeth Stegall. Their love and companionship were an inspiration to all who knew them.

Excell's legacy lives on through his daughters, Lawanda Stegall and Shalonda Stegall, who he raised with love and dedication. He was also a cherished grandfather to Xavier Washington, Giovanni Washington, Camron Kirk, Brandon Stegall, Derek Excell Stegall, Lanaiya Elizabeth Stegall, and Christian Stegall. His great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Chloe, Skylynd, and Elliott, brought him immeasurable joy and were the light of his life.
