Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evie Louies Watson on December 20, 2025, due to complications related to Stage 4 stomach cancer disease at the age of 37. She passed a few weeks prior to what would have been her 38th birthday.

 Evie was born to James Jr. Spencer and Sharra Spencer, on January 8, 1988, in Lancaster, California.

Evie was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, Sister, niece, cousin, aunt, mother, wife, friend and coworker. She touched the lives of many with her profound sense of humor and disarming wit. Evie possessed an uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone.

Evie attended Palmdale high school and Highland High School 2003-2007 located in Palmdale California.

Evie attended Antelope Valley College in 2010 located in Lancaster California.

In 2014 Evie and her husband Dominique became residents of Las Vegas Nevada, Evie was excited for the new opportunities embracing the move to a new state. Evie began achieving her goals and gaining better career opportunities. Evie currently worked at Western High School in Las Vegas Nevada. She was a behavior specialist, with a real gift for making young people feel seen and heard. Evie built trust through consistent, positive interactions, making students feel safe, valued, and understood, which motivated academic success in the students she worked with.

Evie and husband Dominique is blessed with three beautiful children Evie’s parenting style was with her whole heart, pouring into the children unconditional love and lifelong lessons. All three children are involved in the sports community of Las Vegas, Cheerleading, Wrestling, Football, Boxing and training for all sports. Evie was there to take the children to and from practice Every evening after school and work, also on the weekend.  Evie was so involved in her children's sports and training that she began taking training courses herself to become a coach. Many of the children in the community loved Evie and their parents did too. Evie was a social butterfly making special connections with children and their parents.

 Evie loved getting into the kitchen, cooking new recipes, traveling with her family, shopping at Walmart and being involved with her children's sports and activities.

 Evie’s departure comes as a great shock, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her community. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.

Survived by: Husband Dominigue Watson, Sons: Jaylen Watson, Prince Watson, Daughter: Ava Watson, Mother: Sharra Spencer, Brothers: James Spencer, Stephan Spencer, Sisters: Tekisha White, Jasmine Spencer, Jennifer Spencer, Tiffany Spencer Jackson.

A celebration of life and home going service for Evie Watson will be held at Tent-to-tent ministries 01/10/2026 1:30-4:30p.m.
