Eustice de la Rosa Romero (1945-2023) passed away peacefully in her Amarillo, TX home. She was 78.
Eustice was born in 1945 to Herbert and Dora Romero in Tijuana, Mexico, where she grew up and later taught english. Eustice moved to Amarillo, TX. in 1957 for a better life. Eustice graduated high school and wanted to make an impact. She did just that. She joined the army as a World War One nurse and later became a teacher back in Tijuana. Her impact as a WW1 nurse and English teacher from Tijuana, Mexico, will never be forgotten. Her dedication to serving others and her passion for education touched the lives of many. Her legacy will continue to inspire and her memory will be cherished. May she rest in eternal peace.
Funeral Service will be held at Latin American Funeral Complex in Tijuana, Sunday November 19th at 10:00am.
