Eugene Ray Miller, known to family and friends as Gene, passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 83. He was born on September 12, 1940, in Elgin, IL, and most recently resided in Hoboken, GA.
Gene had a passion for fishing and spent many hours enjoying this beloved hobby. He also had an appreciation for good food, with seafood boil being among his favorite dishes.
A skilled carpenter, Gene's creations were nothing short of remarkable. His talent and craftsmanship were evident in the wonderful pieces he crafted throughout his life.
Carpentry truly brought Gene immense joy, as he loved working with his hands and creating something beautiful. It was a source of fulfillment for him.
Although Gene was widowed, his daughter Susana held a special place in his heart. Sadly, she passed away a couple of years ago. He is also survived by his niece Abby and her husband Mark, who were dear to him.
Gene will be remembered for his outgoing and fun-loving personality. He was always ready for a good time, cherishing moments spent with friends and family.
In honoring the memory of Eugene Ray Miller, let us celebrate his life and the legacy he leaves behind as a skilled carpenter, a loving father, and a cherished friend. May he rest in peace.
