Ethel Taylor, born on May 16, 1939, in Cross, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, in Boston, Massachusetts, where she had resided for many years. Ethel enjoyed a fulfilling career at Boston University Hospital, now known as Boston Medical Center, from which she retired.
Known for her warm spirit and generous heart, Ethel had a passion for fishing, shopping, and traveling, often sharing these joys with her loved ones. A devoted wife to Walter Taylor, she cherished her family, including her children John L. Glover, Sarah J. Taylor, Valerie Akinbani (Akinleye), Vanessa Martin, Gregory Taylor, and her late son Steven Taylor. Ethel also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life.
Ethel found strength and comfort in her favorite scripture, Psalms 23, which reflected her faith and outlook on life. She will be remembered for her kindness, her zest for life, and her unwavering love for her family. Ethel's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
