Born on October 28, 1973, in St. Cloud, MN, Eric's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He resided in Tucson, AZ, where he pursued his passions and spread joy to those around him.

Eric had a zest for life and a contagious sense of humor. He had a knack for making people laugh and brought joy to any room he entered. His favorite hobbies included walking, swimming, playing Pickleball, and spending quality time with his close friends. He also had a strong thirst for knowledge, especially in the areas of health and wellness, and was always eager to share what he learned with others. Eric's generosity knew no bounds, and he took great pleasure in offering a helping hand and sharing whatever he could with those in need.

When it came to food, Eric had a simple palate and was easy to please. He enjoyed healthy salads, Mexican cuisine, and his mom's famous lasagna and her delicious carrot cake. But above all, he relished any food made with love and care. His taste in music spanned 80's-90's rock, and he particularly admired artists such as Phil Collins, Jimmy Buffett, and Toby Keith.

Eric's love for his family was immeasurable. He cherished spending time with his nieces and nephews, who lovingly called him "Unca Ewic." He was fiercely proud of his parents, Lawrence and Bonnie Willis, and his older brother Christofer, his sister-in-law Angie and little sister Karie, along with his nieces Eliana, Ava, Rya, and nephews Owen, and TJ, all held a special place in his heart.

Throughout his life, Eric embarked on various professional endeavors, including working as an EMT, mortgage broker, insurance broker, realtor, and truck driver. He achieved notable success as a college graduate and as the owner of a mortgage company. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Eric found immense fulfillment in his involvement with Central Christian Church and Sunshine Acres, where he served in various ministries.

Eric's life motto was "that's a no brainer," and his quick wit and sharp mind made him an entertaining conversationalist. He had a remarkable ability to observe people and capture their essence through humorous anecdotes and imaginative stories. Eric's superpower was his unwavering love for others and his commitment to helping them in any way he could.

As a believer in Jesus, Eric found solace and strength in his faith. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and service. He impacted countless lives with his humor, kindness, and willingness to lend a hand.

In honor of Eric's vibrant personality, a memorial service will be held on August 10, 2024 at 10am at Calvary Chapel Tucson East.
